London Bridge Orthopaedics Surgeons Give Presentations to City-Based Physiotherapists

Surgeons representing London Bridge Orthopaedics gave presentations to a group of city based physiotherapists at LBO’s headquarters at the Shard.

Mr Sam Gidwani hand and wrist surgeon discussed various themes such as scaphoid fractures including examination, tenderness and range of motion. Participants were given a practical demonstration on hand & wrist examinations.  Mr Simon Mellor discussed various shoulder presentations and the actual need for surgery.

Later in the week, Mr Simon Owen Johnstone, London Bridge Orthopaedics’ consultant shoulder surgeon, delivered a breakfast talk to a separate group of city-based physiotherapists.  He focused on Glenoid Labrum: anatomy, normal variants, presentations such as deep pain, instability and clinical tests.  Delegates found the talk helpful with their daily cohort of city-based workers.
