Event Updates from London Bridge Orthopaedics 

Not only was 2017 our busiest year on record, we’ve got off to a flying start to 2018.

London Bridge Orthopaedics has hosted a number of events in the past few weeks, including an extremely successful GP conference on the 2nd of December that was attended by over 100 GPs. The feedback was extremely positive and focused on the professionalism and expertise of the LBO group.

More recently, London Bridge Orthopaedic sponsored a CPR training for all clinical and non-clinical staff at 2 surgeries in Beckenham, Kent – Elm House & Cator Medical Practice. The training was for clinical and non-clinical staff at 2 surgeries in Beckenham, Kent – Elm House & Cator Medical Practice. The event was very informative, especially to the non-clinical staff, in case a patient may require resuscitation, and certainly help build confidence through hands-on training.

Alongside that, Mr Joydeep Sinha, LBO’s consultant shoulder and elbow surgeon, hosted a ‘lunch and learn’ session at South View Lodge surgery in Bromley. The session was a Q&A into many different types of shoulder and elbow conditions, their symptoms, treatment options and cures.

  • 9th May – GP Education event: live surgery at Boardroom at St Olaf’s, London Bridge Hospital. Speaker: Khai Lam.
  • 2nd June – London Bridge Orthopaedics GP with location TBC. Speakers: LBO consultants.
  • 5th September – GP Education event: live surgery at Boardroom at St Olaf’s, London Bridge Hospital. Speaker: Khai Lam.
  • 13th September – LBO Injection Seminar (upper) with location TBC. Speakers: upper limb consultants.
  • 27th September – LBO Injection Seminar (lower) with location TBC. Speakers: lower limb consultants.
  • 18th October – LBO Autumn Physio event with location TBC. Speakers: LBO consultants.
  • 8th December – LBO Orthopaedic Conference with location TBC. Speakers: LBO consultants.
