The shoulder specialist, Mr Joydeep Sinha, gave a talk to physiotherapists from Pure Sports Physio at their clinic in their newly opened clinic in St. Paul’s on Friday 21st September. Mr Sinha commented that his practice has seen a huge increase in high energy-type injuries. He then went on to discuss a wide range of subjects and issues – including rotator cuff problems and the types of trauma physios are likely to come across.
Mr Sinha demonstrated impingement tests and also mentioned classified pain, ACJ tests, internal rotation, classical apprehension plus secondary impingement slap tears along with the inflamed bursar.
Mr. Sinha has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on upper limb trauma and shoulder surgery – especially aspects of arthroscopic “keyhole” surgery and shoulder replacement.
His special interests include: shoulder surgery, elbow surgery, hand surgery, arthroscopic “keyhole” surgery, sports injuries.
