Mr Khai Lam was the distinguished international guest lecturer at the yearly AOSpine Advanced Seminar in Beijing on Nov 2, 2019, that was hosted by world-renowned spine surgeons from Peking University Third Hospital. He has taught a number of the senior spine surgeons who attended the Seminar.
Mr Lam was able to share in his vast experience in advances in the surgical treatment using minimal anterior lumbar approaches and discuss key factors that lead to complications when managing adult degenerative scoliosis. He also touched on how minimally invasive spine surgery and recent advances in Robotic spine surgery can help reduce soft tissue trauma resulting in enhanced patient recovery alongside better clinical outcomes.
